What to Look For in a Classroom

Reflection

When thinking about how my classrooms were set up throughout my school experiences, they were all very different. The earliest I can remember is 4th grade and the desks were set up in small groups of 4. After each quarter was finished, the teacher would switch the students up so we were all sitting with different people. The classrooms were very decorative as well, the teacher was obsessed with "I Love Lucy" and I remember making a connection with her because my Nana liked her as well.

Thinking back on it, every teacher was different when it came to their teaching habits and the way they organized their classroom. In High School, each room was set up the same. All desks were in rows facing the front of the room. It was easier to talk to people in High School but the way the desks were set up, made it difficult to engage with each other.
